The stunning focal stamps are guaranteed to create a range of makes for the special people in your life. The embroidery hoop, knitted squares, and dress mannequin, along with the tool box and tool belt are favourites of ours!

As usual, we had so many amazing cards that we just couldn’t squeeze them all into the magazine. So we’ve got a selection of bonus makes to get your buzzing with ideas ready for when the magazine hits the shelves on Thursday 23rd February.

First up, we’ve got a feminine bonus card from Christine Smith using the mannequin stamp from her one ‘Take on stamp’ feature inside the magazine. We love the handmade style of this card, and even better, swap the Grandmother sentiment and you’ve got the perfect make for any fashion-made woman in your life.

HOW TO CREATE

1 Cut a 17x12cm piece of cardstock, then use a stitched oval die in the centre. After die-cutting, use a piercing ruler to add holes around the edges of the landscape panel.

2 Use the two pin stamps to create a complete border around the panel. Stamp the mannequin and other elements onto cardstock, then add background stamping to the panel using the mannequin stamp.

3 Double-up metallic thread and stitch it through all the holes to create a continuous metallic border.

4 Use Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry Distress Ink to ink-blend the die-cut oval. Then add some tone-on-tone background stamping using Bubble Gum ink. Build the pattern by using first- and second-generation stamping, and multiple stamps.

5 Colour and cut out the mannequin nad balls of wool. Then use two colours of ribbon along the bottom of the card to create a ribbon border.

6 Recess the oval back into the frame using 3D foam pads to give extra dimension, then add other stamped elements as desired.

7 Add a scattering of embellishments diagonally across the card for the finishing touch.
