You’ll need
free stamp set & paper pack
20cm polystyrene wreath
Amethyst & Aquamarine Chloe’s Luxury Pearl Paper
pink, lilac & pale blue organza ribbon
Crafter’s Companion heat-resistant acetate
Onyx Black VersaFine inkpad
Cosmopolitan Stamps by Chloe WOW! embossing powder
Glitter Noir Nuvo embossing powder
Disco Fever & Raspberry Ripple Stamps by Chloe Sparkelicious glitter
Clear Mark Nuvo embossing inkpad
heat tool
tacky glue
3D foam tape
hot-glue gun

Step by step
1 Cut a selection of 15x2cm strips of patterned paper. You will need about 40 for a wreath of this size. Decorate the wreath by painting a line of glue directly onto the polystyrene and wrap a strip round, fastening onto the back, then repeat until the wreath is covered.
2 Stamp two strips of dangling butterflies, one above the other, onto heat-resistant acetate, add the pink embossing powder and heat-set. Create five acetate strips this way, cutting them to about 1cm wide and 15cm length, then add red tape to each end and stick, evenly spaced, around the wreath. Stick them close to the edge of the back, so that the acetate stands proud of the wreath.
3 Cut five more strips of acetate and stick these down in the same way, around the wreath. Wrap pink organza ribbon around the wreath, fastening to the back each time with a small strip of red tape, but keeping the ribbon loose over the top. Make a hanging loop and glue down the end. Make a bow from three colours of ribbon, cut long tails and fix to the bottom of the wreath.
4 To cover up the back of the wreath, cut a similar-sized circle with a hole in the middle from white cardstock. Line the edges with double-sided tape and stick down, to ensure everything stays in place.
5 To decorate, stamp the butterfly cluster several times onto Amethyst and Aquamarine paper and heat-emboss. Cut out the large and medium butterflies and fold back the wings slightly. Use a hot glue gun to add tiny drops of glue to the back of each butterfly and fix to all the acetate strips, so that the butterflies appear to be flying. Add one to the stamped and embossed strips and two to the plain strips. Finish with one last butterfly to sit on the bow.

Always wipe down heat-resistant acetate with an anti-static bag before use, to remove any fingerprints and create a perfect surface for stamping
