Papercraft Essentials is packed with fun cards you can make in an evening! With the emphasis on cute and traditional styles, the magazine combines quick makes for beginners with more in-depth projects for intermediate and advanced crafters. Every occasion is covered throughout the year, so there’s something for everyone each month and you’re sure to find inspiration for your latest makes, whether it’s a quick decoupage creation or a more complicated heat-embossed design!.

The popular Cut Out & Keep pullout in the centre of the magazine showcases the latest products from the UK’s hottest brands, while the Masterclass and other regular features guide you step by step through the best techniques. Each issue also features the latest craft news, galleries featuring our readers’ creations and shopping guides, plus giveaways and competitions giving you the chance to win fabulous goodies as well as tickets to craft shows around the UK.

Every issue comes with a high-quality crafting product, and our talented Design Team show you how to make the most of them inside the magazine. Recent gifts include stamps, paper & die-cut decoupage stacks, embossing folders, Core’dinations cardstock, mirri card and CD-ROMs, and we have more fantastic freebies coming up in future issues!

Hi I’m Lee and I’m the Editor of Papercraft Essentials. I come from a journalism background so when I first started working at Practical Publishing as a Sub-Editor, the world of crafting was all new to me! However I soon became addicted to the wonderful world of papercraft (I already had a slight stationery obsession…), and I recently made all the invitations and other crafty bits for my wedding!

The best part of my job is deciding on the fabulous products we’re going to showcase in the magazine each month, and having an input into the wonderful freebies that come with the magazine. It’s always great to meet our readers at craft shows too, so please do come and say hello!
