We love this issue’s free gift so much that we devoted three features to it. Turn to page 11 to find Simonne Clay’s special makes to delight, page 56 to find card inspiration for friends and family or flick to page 86 to see Sandra Rayner’s stunning off-the-page projects.

In this issue, we invited Helen Griffin to create fun cards for men using the latest beachy Kaisercraft ranges – and she’s created a real splash with her seaside theme! The nautical but nice themes have something for everyone. We love this shaker card.

1 Fold a piece of A4 cardstock in half. Place a 5½” circle die over the folded edge and die-cut to create a circular card blank.

2 Place a 5½ and 43/8" circle onto another piece of navy cardstock and die-cut to create a bezel. Make another bezel in the same way from Funky Foam. Die-cut two 51/8" circles from acetate and one from patterned paper and adhere to the inside of the card.

3 On the inside of the card, glue the acetate to the front, then affix the foam bezel, fill the centre with sequins and attach the last acetate circle seal it. Die-cut a selection of fish and glue to the inside of the card.

4 Stamp the sentiment onto white cardstock and cut it into a banner shape. Mount onto navy cardstock and matt onto burlap ribbon. Affix as shown and embellish the card front with sequins to finish.

If you’re keen to make the most of different die-cutting techniques this month, Christine Smith’s masterclass is just for you. She’s giving you a step-by-step guide to spotlight die-cutting, and here’s a peek at our favourite from the feature.
