Here’s a bonus card from Papercraft Essentials issue 98’s gilding masterclass

Issue 98 is on sale tomorrow, and one of the highlights is Kim Dellow’s wonderful gilding masterclass! Here she shows us how to make a stunning birthday card…

You’ll need
white 10.5x15cm card blank
white cardstock
Creative Expressions Floral Silhouette stamp set
Stampendous! Small Typewriter Alphabet stamp set
Golden Light, Cast Bronze & Patina Cosmic Shimmer Metallic gilding wax
Jet black StazOn inkpad
Ranger Cut-N-Dry foam
Couture Creations Intrinsic embossing folder
circle punches
manual die-cutting machine
silicone glue
3D foam pads

Step by step
1 Cut a 9×9.5cm piece of white cardstock, round the bottom corners and secure to the card front using 3D foam pads.
2 Stamp a sentiment onto white cardstock, trim and attach as shown.
3 Cut three circles from white cardstock and emboss in the Intrinsic embossing folder.
4 Using gilding waxes and Cut-N-Dry foam, add colour to the three circles and stick them to the card front.
5 Stamp a butterfly from the Floral Silhouette set onto white cardstock, cut out and adhere using silicone glue.
