Your chance to win £500 worth of Amazon vouchers!
Put your crafty skills to the test with cartridgesave.co.uk’s crafty Christmas competition!
Do you know your decopatch from your quilling? Your die-cutting from your embossing? And your glitter glue from your Plaid Mod?
Cartridgesave.co.uk, Britain’s biggest online ink supplier, is on the hunt for the nation’s biggest crafters to take part in a cracker-making challenge to show that a homemade Christmas is what it’s all about – and be in with a chance of winning a Christmas shopping budget of £500 from Amazon!
Bloggers, hobbyists and home craft enthusiasts are being invited to grab glitter pots and glue spreaders and start creating the most exquisitely decorated crackers based on a downloadable template from www.cartridgesave.co.uk/Christmas.
Crafters need to publish an inspirational blog detailing how they made it along with a photo of their finished creation, sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. Images will be showcased on the company’s Facebook page and the winner will be selected by the cartridgesave.co.uk team. The competition is open from 14th November 2013 until midnight 18th December 2013.
The competition is part of a wider campaign urging the nation to forget spending a fortune on run-of-the-mill Christmas tat and instead make Christmas decorations that really sparkle – beautiful to all involved and packed full of shared memories to last a lifetime.
The Christmas elves from online ink company cartridgesave.co.uk have created six simple, free-to-download guides, to help fire imaginations and create homespun decorations that are both cheap and imaginative.
Designed to inject every house with festive glow, the guides are available at www.cartridgesave.co.uk/Christmas and include: Christmas crackers, multicoloured garlands and personalised advent calendars, plus a range of 3D tree decorations to give regular baubles a run for their money.
Simple instructions appear on the printable sheets, along with a list of helpful items needed to create the perfect homemade decorations.
Ian Cowley, Managing Director of cartridgesave.co.uk explained: “The competition really celebrates the hard work put in by many families every year to make Christmas that little bit more special. We can’t wait to see what Britain comes up with – let’s show the supermarkets that a homemade Christmas is what its all about.”
