Friday bonus!

It’s Friday, so to celebrate here’s a bonus project using the docrafts French Lavender range!

Special day easel

You’ll need

white 14.5cm-square card blank

docrafts Capsule Collection French Lavender 6×6” paper pack, lace paper, big bloomers, die-cut notelets & adhesive crochet border

Lili of the Valley For You Circular Sentiments stamp set

Spellbinders Nestabilities Scalloped Circles dies

white, purple & beige cardstock

purple inkpad

Step by step

1 Create an easel base by folding down the top of the card blank in half. Cut a 6×13.5cm strip of patterned paper, layer onto beige then purple cardstock and attach to the top panel of the card blank. Attach a strip of crochet trim to the lower edge.

2 Stick a circle die-cut notelet onto a circle from the lace paper pack. Layer two daisy-shaped blooms onto this. Take another daisy, fold it in half and half again then bend the petals outwards. Stick this in place to form a large dimensional flower.

3 Cut a 13.5cm square of patterned paper, layer onto beige then purple cardstock and attach to the bottom panel of the card blank.

4 Cut a 6×13.5cm strip of patterned paper, layer onto beige cardstock, leaving a narrow border, then add a strip of crochet trim to each side. Attach this to the card base using 3D foam pads to act as a stopper.

5 Use purple ink to stamp a greeting onto pale patterned paper, trim to size and layer onto a scalloped circle die-cut from purple cardstock. Adhere to the card base as shown.
