Kim Dellow was on hand to help us get creative with our die-cutting, creating apertures using the partial die-cutting technique. The five ideas in the feature are amazing, but we couldn’t resist showing you this one too:
yellow & blue cardstock
3D foam pads
manual die-cutting machine
Lawn Fawn Cole’s ABC dies
Step by step
1 Arrange the ‘H’ ‘A’ and ‘P’ dies on the card front and use the Washi Tape to hold them in place, then use Step 1 of the die-cutting step-by-step instructions on page 26 of the magazine to cut the letters.
2 Repeat Step 1 for the rest of the word ‘Happy’ and for the word ‘Day’. Then cut away the unneeded cardstock as shown in Step 2 of the step-by-step technique on page.
3 Use 3D foam pads to stick yellow cardstock behind the two word apertures to finish.
Jo Boland used the Little Man collection from Echo Park to create a range of striking cards for little boys. She had so much fun she create this extra card just for out blog!

2 Cut a piece of ‘little man’ paper slightly smaller and adhere to the card blank.
3 Place the skater sticker on to scrap dark cardstock and carefully trim out leaving an outline of cardstock showing. Mount with foam pads to the centre of the card.
4 Place the red ‘one of a kind’ banner sticker to the bottom of the card and add the red arrow sticker to the top right corner, both are from the Elements Sticker sheet.
5 Beneath the arrow add a ‘Happy’ word sticker and spell ‘Birthday’ with little letter stickers, both from the Alpha Sticker sheet.
