Bonus cards from issue 11 of Die-cutting Essentials

1 Die-cut the border edge into a piece of kraft cardstock measuring 6×4”, repeat with a second piece of kraft cardstock measuring 6×5” and embellish both designs with gilding wax.
2 Score the plain edges of each piece at 1” and adhere both panels to a 6”-square of kraft cardstock to create the card blank. Affix a 6”-square of kraft cardstock to the back of the card to hide the seams.
3 Layer the inside of the card with patterned paper leaving a narrow border. Emboss a co-ordinating piece of patterned paper, trim to measure 4”-square and layer onto a piece of kraft cardstock.
4 Die-cut the sentiment, gild with wax and adhere to the topper, embellish with pearls and secure to the inside of the card blank as shown.
5 Emboss a co-ordinating piece of patterned paper, trim into two strips measuring 5¾x1½” and 5¾x½” and adhere to the card front as shown.
6 Adhere a length of ribbon onto the card front, knot short lengths of ribbon and top with a button to finish.

3D foam pads
1 Die-cut the sentiment from black cardstock, layer onto a white cardstock using 3D foam pads, trim and adhere a black die-cut frame as shown.
2 Adhere a black die-cut frame to a white panel measuring 5½x6¾” using 3D foam pads.
3 Affix the sentiment topper to the card front from using 3D foam pads and embellish with three red die-cut hearts as shown.
4 Pierce the edges of a white 6¼x7½” cardstock panel, layer onto black cardstock leaving a narrow border using 3D foam pads and secure to a white card blank measuring 6¾x8”.
5 Affix the frame topper to the card front using 3D foam pads to finish.
