As usual we’ve been eager to cram as many ideas into the magazine as possible, so much so we couldn’t fit squeeze it all into the magazine! So we’ve got a couple of bonus ideas right here for you – don’t say we never give you anything.

First up, Jo Rice is back and this time she’s putting the Brother ScanNCut CM900 machine through it’s paces to ensure that you’ve got plenty of ideas to make fun cards for kids!

***25mins

Materials

white 5×7” card blank

blue, yellow, turquoise & lilac cardstock

Papermania large spring

3D glue gel

Step by step

1 Using the ScanNcut machine and blue cardstock, cut out the Happy Birthday sentiment (LO-A031) to measure 11.1x15cm.

2 Cut it out again using yellow cardstock and add four of the dinosaur image (AR-C024) measuring 3x43cm. Ensure that two face one way and the other two face the opposite way using the flip button on the base of the screen.

3 Cut the jagged oval frame (BA-A061) measuring 12.3x16cm from turquoise cardstock. Carefully layer the yellow sentiment onto the blue sentiment cutout, slightly offset to create a shadow effect and affix to the turquoise oval.

4 Layer the lilac cardstock onto blue cardstock, leaving a narrow border and affix onto the card front. Secure the frame to the card front using the spring and add the dinosaurs around the sentiment panel to finish.

Next up, we’ve got a bonus card from the Noor! Design Design Team using the brand-new Little Darlings All Dressed Up rubberstamps. These fabulous stamps are gorgeous and perfect for making cards for girls of all ages. Vicky Pass has excelled herself with this design…
