Die-cutting Essentials 21 sneak peek!
Issue 21 of Die-cutting Essentials hits the shelves on Thursday 23rd February and this issue’s free gift is the Darling Doilies nesting dies and co-ordinating stamp set, which is the perfect addition to any crafter’s stash!
This is a special issue for me, because I’ve stepped into the role of editor in this fantastic team! As Becky mentioned last issue, I’ve been behind the scenes working across our papercrafting titles for the past few years and I’m absolutely thrilled to be taking the reins of this amazing magazine!
For those who don’t know me, I’m an avid cardmaker and I dabble in scrapbooking, sewing and painting – anything to help me unleash my creativity! Last year I embarked on my biggest challenge yet – handmade crafts for my wedding including invitations, favours and centrepieces. It was stressful at times, but so rewarding overall. I share my crafty adventures through my blog, and hope that you to get in touch to share yours!
That’s enough about me, we’ve got another jam-packed issue for you – with ideas for cards for women, makes for men and special cards for new arrivals that are guaranteed to inspire you!
Our Darling Doilies nesting dies and co-ordinating stamps are the perfect design to help you kick-start your spring crafting, we’re so excited about Amy Gray’s beautiful card collection which boasts cards for all occasions!
Vicky Welsby has been busy making off-the-page creations using our fabulous free gift, try your hand at her beautiful bunting, gift wrap solutions and unique FIMO jewelry dish.
Also in this issue, we feature an innovative new technique – extending your dies! This easy step-by-step guide from Kim Dellow will help you stretch your die stash to create custom die-cut shapes.
And with Easter on the horizon, it’s the perfect excuse to create some sweet treats! Pete Hughes has fun making adorable off-the-page creations using the latest releases from Sizzix.
