manual die-cutting machine

Step by step

1 Cut a piece of black cardstock slightly smaller than the card front and adhere. Cut a slightly smaller piece of kraft cardstock, mask the stencil and use VersaMark ink to sponge the quarter design into the bottom-left corner as shown.

2 Repeat in the top-right corner using less of the stencil as shown. Add gold embossing powder to both designs and heat-emboss.

3 Use black ink to stamp part of the sentiment onto the stencilled cardstock. Die-cut the ‘you’ die from kraft cardstock and adhere below the stamped sentiment slightly to the right as shown.

4 Layer the panel onto the card front and embellish using pearls and gems to finish.

The lovely Lavinia Stamps have demonstrated their new designs on page 21, but here’s an extra card they put together as a special sneak peek!

You’ll need:

Sacred Spells & Fairy Creatures Lavinia Stamps stamp sets

VersaMark inkpad

black Brusho Crystals

Opaque Bright White WOW! embossing powder

anti-static bag

heat tool

Step by step

1 Wipe the anti-static bag across the Multifarious Card and use VersaMark ink to stamp Sacred Spells in the centre. Sprinkle the embossing powder, tap off the excess and heat-emboss.

2 Use VersaMark ink to stamp the flying dragonfly from the Fairy Creatures stamp set above and below the Sacred Spells stamp. Add embossing powder and heat-emboss both dragonflies.

3 Spritz the stamped panel all over with water. Sprinkle black Brusho Crystals, spritz once more and leave to settle and dry.

4 Wipe off any colour that remains on the embossed area. When completely dry layer onto larger pieces of black and white cardstock and attach to the centre of the card front to finish.

*Top tip*
