How to create

1 Use low-tack tape to secure an A4 piece of white cardstock to your work surface, spritz it with water and sprinkle it with a range of Pixie Powders.

2 Allow the colours to merge and use kitchen roll to stop muddy colours from forming. Sprinkle the background with rock salt to create texture, allow to dry and brush off the salt.

3 Stamp and heat-emboss multiple strips of dancers, trim into banners and stamp and heat-emboss the sentiment onto a white die-cut circle.

5 Trim and layer the background onto the card front, die-cut a circle from the excess background, layer it behind the sentiment and trim to create a rosette topper.

6 Add the borders onto the card front using 3D foam tape, mount the rosette on top and embellish the design with sequins. Use black and white pens to add detail to finish.

Next up, we have a fabulous card from Debbie Simpson’s ‘On the calendar’ feature, in which Debbie creates romantic designs for Valentine’s Day. This beautiful bonus card makes us want to get up and have a dance!
