Bonus project from the Joanna Sheen Cardmaking Collection!

The fabulous Joanna Sheen Cardmaking Collection boxed kit is on sale now and here’s a stunning bonus card!

You’ll need
free dies & stamp set
white 5.5”-square tent-fold card blank
white & black cardstock
Tim Holtz idea-ology Bouquet
Worn Lipstick, Carved Pumpkin & Squeezed Lemonade Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink
Jet Black Ranger Archival Ink
VersaMark inkpad
Vintage Pearl Ranger embossing powder
white ribbon
remnant of fabric
water-spritzer bottle
non-stick craft sheet
Ranger Cut-n-Dry foam/ink-blending tool
heat tool
manual die-cutting machine

Step by step
1 Blend Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Ink across the bottom of a 5” square of white cardstock, then blend Carved Pumpkin over the edges of this layer then repeat with Worn Lipstick. Spritz the inked background with water, allow the water to sit for a few moments then dry using a heat tool. Matt onto black cardstock then adhere to the card front.
2 Stamp the fan image five times onto white cardstock using VersaMark ink then heat-emboss.
3 Colour the fans with Carved Pumpkin and Worn Lipstick Distress Ink, blending the inks on each one. Spritz a piece of kitchen towel with water then wipe over the embossed areas on the fans to remove the ink from the embossed design.
4 Cut out the fans using the outer die then adhere together and stick to the card front, adding a remnant of fabric behind.
5 Press the Carved Pumpkin and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Inks onto a non-stick craft sheet, spritz the ink with water then mop up the beads of ink with a length of white ribbon. Dry using a heat tool, scrunching the ribbon in your hands as you dry it. Tie in a bow and affix to the base of the fan. Add a flower.
6 Colour a piece of white cardstock with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink, dry using a heat tool then stamp a sentiment onto the inked card. Cut out and attach to the fan.
