Creative Stamping 59 Sneak Peek

This month’s issue of Creative Stamping hits the shops on 5th July, and we’re celebrating – summer is definitely here! In this issue we’ve teamed up with Apple Blossom to bring you your amazing Summer Holiday stamp set!

We’re so excited to show you Creative Stamping 59, on sale on 5th July, complete with exclusive stamp designs from Apple Blossom. Every image in this stamp set was digitally drawn by our talented designer Sarah, themed to match the season with summer birthdays and celebrations in mind, and we’re sure you will agree there is something for everybody in here!

Camping, caravanning, barbecues or simply lazy summer days, we’ve got it covered…It’s hard to pick a favourite stamp from the set but we think you’ll have lots of fun with the seaside and beach elements, just like our designer Mel Jess did when she created her amazing pop-up box cover card.

Our fabulous design team has been hard at work to bring you inspiring projects using your stamp set, plus you’ll see a selection of brand-new releases from your favourite stamping brands, including designs from Crafter’s Companion, Hunkydory, Uniko and Woodware.

Check out our Perfect Paper feature by Sue Hughes to match beach-style papers with our stamps

We love Debbie Simpson’s colouring too, this caravan is delightful and her feminine ideas appeal to beach babes of all ages!

Cards for men – no problem with this stamp set! We love this simple deckchair design by Jane Roy, let’s hope we get the weather for a bit of sitting out in the sunshine this summer!

Last but not least, you won’t be able to resist Kim Dellow’s Masterclass on the emboss-resist technique. She shares her expert hints and tips on page 20 to show you how to achieve amazing results and take your stamping to the next level, with a helpful step-by-step visual guide too.

Phew! That’s all for issue 59, and that’s all from me for this month. I’m off to practice my colouring, having recently upgraded my pen collection to include Copic markers. I’m taking tips from Sue Hastead and Debbie Simpson, both of whom have used them in their features. Maybe I will share my results sometime soon!
You can order your copy of Creative Stamping 59 from www.moremags.com/cs59 when it goes on sale on Thursday 5th July, and feel free to send your letters and amazing stamping creations to me at nicky.gilburt@practicalpublishing.co.uk or creativestamping@practicalpublishing.co.uk

And don’t forget to keep your eyes peeled for issue 60 of Creative Stamping, which goes on sale on the 2nd August. We are in love with the stamps in our Autumnal Treasures set featuring exclusive designs from Hot off the Press, and as we look ahead to the next season, we bring you warm autumn tones and ideas for Halloween too.
Happy stamping!
Nicky

I’m in the US and buy my magazines at Barnes & Noble; sometimes at Micheal’s or Joann’s. The issues are always a month or so behind then when released in the UK. Not so bad when stamps and such are general, but holidays or seasonal? Forget it! Why is this so?

    • Nicky Gilburt

Hi Lee, Thanks for getting touch, it is great to hear from our international crafters. UK and international copies of the magazine are sent out from the distributor at the same time, and unfortunately it can take that long to get them to you. These stamps are summer themes but you can use them all year round, and of course build up your library for future years! Obviously I hope you have a long hot summer over there in the US! We do think about our overseas audience receiving seasonal stamps within plenty of time, it is important and as such, you will see that our autumnal/Halloween stamps will be on sale in early August. Christmas will follow soon, as we want to make sure our crafters all over the world get the best out of our magazine! Happy stamping! Best wishes Nicky, editor

can we subscribe in the US?

    • Nicky Gilburt

Hi Linda, you can subscribe from the US and issues are dispatched to you at the same time as UK subscribers. Unfortunately the subscription gift is only valid for UK subscribers, but you do of course get all the gifts that are packaged with the magazines. I hope this information is helpful. I have included the link to subscribe. https://www.moremags.com/cs59sub
