You’ll need
kit Beside the Seaside card collection
white 6”-square card blank
silver Mirri Card
white organza ribbon
3D glue gel
3D foam pads

Step by step
1 Cut a piece of patterned cardstock featuring the puffin to measure 4.75×6”. Matt onto silver Mirri Card.
2 Wrap white organza ribbon around the left-hand side of the card before gluing to the card blank.
3 Attach the sentiment using 3D foam pads, then add a ribbon bow using 3D glue gel.

Step by step
1 Cut two pieces of black cardstock, one measuring 6” square and another 5” square. Cut twopieces of white cardstock, one measuring 5.5” square and another 5” square.
2 Matt the largest white square onto the largest black square, then fix to the card front.
3 Die-cut two hot-air balloon apertures from the smaller white square. Die-cut two hot-air balloons of the same size from black cardstock.
4 Cut a 4.25” square of white cardstock and glue to the back of the white square with balloon apertures. Stick the two black die-cut balloons to the apertures.
5 Mat this piece of card onto the remaining square of black cardstock, then attach to the card front using 3D foam pads.
6 Stamp the sentiment onto white cardstock, cut into a banner shape and matt onto black cardstock. Adhere to the card front using 3D foam pads. Add gemstones in the top-right corner to finish.

Step by step
1 Emboss two 4×6” pieces of white cardstock. Take one of the pieces and apply Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Ink directly to the bottom sand section, then take a damp baby wipe and blend the colour over the card. Repeat this for the sea, sky and hills using different colours.
2 Matt this panel onto black cardstock then secure to the card front.
3 Take the other embossed piece of card and repeat apply colour to the sand as in Step 1. Carefully cut this section off, and also cut out all the white clouds. Attach to the embossed panel on the card front.
4 Stamp a sentiment onto white Ink Me! cardstock, matt onto black cardstock and affix in the bottom-left corner using 3D foam pads. Add some Hickory Smoke Distress Marker to the birds to finish.

Step by step
1 Take an A3 sheet of Ink Me! cardstock and cut it to 17.5cm wide. Place landscape on the left-hand side of the scoreboard and score at 2cm, 13cm, 15cm, and 26cm.
2 Fold along the 26cm line and turn the cardstock 180°. Butt this edge up against the right-hand side of the scoreboard and score at 2cm, then fold along this line. Butt this against the right-hand edge of the scoreboard and score at 11cm. Trim the end to 2cm. Die-cut an aperture in the centre of the panel.
3 Cut a 17.5x11cm piece of white Ink Me! cardstock. Add Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Ink directly to the bottom section of the card and blend the colour using a damp baby wipe. Add Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink directly to the middle section and again blend using a baby wipe. Add a few gentle swipes of Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Ink to the Salty Ocean section and blend using a baby wipe. Add some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink directly to the top section of the card and blend using a baby wipe.
4 Stamp elements from the set onto white Ink Me! cardstock, colour in and cut out. Attach these to the beach scene using 3D foam pads, and add a little shade under them using a Distress Marker. Glue this panel to the back panel of the frame box.
5 Die-cut a frame from white cardstock using the rectangle and scalloped rectangle dies. Add a little colour to this using Tumbled Glass Distress ink, then adhere over the aperture. Add a few stamped beach items around the frame.
6 Stamp a sentiment onto white cardstock, matt onto black cardstock and attach to the inner panel using 3D foam pads.
7 To decorate the front and back panels, cut white cardstock to 10.5x17cm and black cardstock to 10.8×17.3cm. Randomly stamp birds and shells over the white piece and colour in, then matt onto the black panel. Add ribbon to the back of the black panel on both sides before gluing to the card blank.
8 Stamp a sentiment onto white cardstock, cut into a banner shape, matt onto black cardstock then attach to the card front using 3D foam pads.
9 To decorate the spine, cut white cardstock measuring 17×1.5cm and black cardstock measuring 17.3×1.8cm. Randomly stamp some starfish onto the white piece, matt onto the black piece and fix in place. Stamp a sentiment onto white cardstock, cut out, matt onto black cardstock and glue to the spine.

Step by step
1 Stamp a piece of rope onto the masking sheet and cut out. Using black ink to make a rope border around the edge of the card blank, masking off where the rope crosses at the corners.
2 Using Salty Ocean inkpad and the water brush, colour the rope. Once this is dry, gently blend a light coat of the same ink around the edge of the card to create the background.
3 Cut a square piece of dark blue cardstock slightly smaller than the remaining central space on your card, then stamp the large starfish stamp all over using the embossing ink pad. Heat-emboss with clear powder to create a subtle background. Stick this to your card front.
4 Select a gold Mirri Mat and white topper card of the required size. Blend all over the white topper card with Salty Ocean ink. Spray this lightly with water, leave for a few seconds then dab off with kitchen towel. Leave this to dry.
5 Stamp large and small starfish diagonally across the bottom half of the dried topper card. Heat-emboss using Ocean Spirit embossing powder.
6 Using the Salty Ocean inkpad, stamp the sentiment in the top corner of the topper you have created. Pick up some more of the ink and colour the large starfish. Mount your finished topper onto the gold Mirri Mat and attach this to the card front using 3D foam pads.
