Creative Stamping 63 – Daisy Mae Design bonus card

Creative Stamping 63 is on sale from 11th October and we are so excited to feature Copic colouring queen and Daisy Mae Design artist Clare Rowlands in this issue. She has a fantastic selection of new stamps, embossing folders and papers available now from CraftStash, and use the discount code in the magazine to get an even better deal!

Not only does Clare design these stamps, but she does incredible colouring too, and then creates stunning projects to showcase her work, such as this chest of drawers with a cute square easel card on top!

You’ll find the instructions for this and other projects in the magazine, but the one thing you might need, if you are colouring with Copic markers, is this list:

How to create

1 Score four 9×11/2” strips of cardstock at 1½”, 3”, 4½”, 6” and 71/2” to make the concertina strips.

2 Cut 40 13/8” squares of white cardstock and layer 40 11/4” squares of patterned paper onto them.

3 Trim two 41/2” squares of dark grey cardstock for the base of the card and patterned papers to decorate it.

4 Stamp the image onto white cardstock and trim into a square. Add Distress Ink around the edges and colour in. Heat sprinkled embossing enamel and add Glossy Accents where needed, then allow to dry.

5 Attach each concertina strip to one side of the base square and cover with the other square, then add the stamped and coloured image, and embellishments.

6 Attach two 33/4×3/4” strips of cardstock together in the shape of a cross, pierce a hole in the centre and affix under each of the top concertina squares to ‘close’ the mechanism. Decorate with pierced circles of cardstock and thread with twine for hanging. Add bows and a button to finish.

You can order your copy of Creative Stamping from www.moremags.com/cs63, and it will be in the shops on 11th October. We hope you enjoy creating with Clare’s designs, don’t forget to share your makes, be it Daisy Mae Design or Creative Stamping’s own stamps, as we love receiving pictures of our readers’ creations!

Happy stamping

Nicky

Love all Clare's work. Hope to see more of her projects in your magazine. I would defiantly buy the magazine if I knew she was featured.
