Die-cutting Essentials 44 BONUS Christmas card
The new issue of Die-cutting Essentials is out today and we’re SO excited!
The issue comes with a stunning Pretty Quick O Christmas Tree die gift that you can use to make gorgeous projects like Sue Hughes’s cover cards.
And we’ve also got new releases from Tattered Lace, First Edition and Crafter’s Companion.
In fact, the magazine is so chocka with die-cutting ideas and papercraft inspiration that we’ve got an extra card for you here that we just couldn’t squeeze into those 100 packed pages.
This gorgeous Christmas shaker card is from Carly Tee Minner on the Honey Bee Stamps design team.

1 Score and fold white A4 cardstock in half to create a card blank, then cut a white panel to fit the front. Line up the ‘merry’ letter dies on the panel and die-cut, using low-tack tape to hold them in place. Set aside all the positive pieces for another project and save any waste of the R letters.
2 Adhere a piece of acetate onto the reverse of the die-cut panel, adhering the waste of the Rs to the front of acetate to complete the letters.
3 Affix 3D foam pads around the letter die-cut apertures and place glitter, sequins or small die-cut shapes into the shaker. Adhere a green glitter paper to the 3D foam pads to seal the shaker box.
4 Adhere the die-cut panel to the card front then add additional word and shape die-cuts to the front of the shaker card.
Thanks so much to Honey Bee Stamps, so delighted with this card!
