Enjoy by Claire Rhodes-Brandon

You’ll need
kit dies
white 13.5cm-square card blank
Enjoy Sentiment Strip die
Circle Layering dies
Bright White, Apricot Orange and Honey Gold Craft Perfect cardstock
white cardstock
Tropical Fruits Nuvo hybrid ink
blending sponge
sequins
acetate
3D foam pads
manual die-cutting machine

Step by step
1 Die-cut a circle into a piece of Apricot Orange cardstock. Die-cut a slightly larger circle into a 12cm square of white cardstock and layer together.
2 Blend ink onto a piece of white cardstock then die-cut the detail into it. Adhere to the back of the aperture.
3 Secure a piece of acetate to the back of the die-cut piece using hi-tack tape. Place foam pads around the edge of the circle to create a well for the sequins. Add sequins inside the 3D foam pads. Attach a piece of white cardstock to the 3D foam pads to create the shaker.
4 Attach a 12.5cm square of Apricot Orange cardstock to the card front, then adhere the shaker topper using 3D foam pads.
5 Die-cut a sentiment from Honey Gold cardstock and fix in place to finish.

Happy birthday by Christine Smith

You’ll need
kit dies & stamp set
white 17x12cm card blank
white & black cardstock
Pecan Peach & Oriental Fuchsia Nuvo Mica Mists
Tonic Studios Freehand Stitched Rectangle Layering die set
Black Shadow Nuvo Hybrid inkpad
sequins
White Blizzard Nuvo Glitter Drops
spray adhesive
3D foam pads
manual die-cutting machine

Step by step
1 Die-cut the detailed die twice from spare cardstock, snipping away any irrelevant pieces at the join. Use spray adhesive on the back and affix across the centre of an A5 piece of cardstock.
2 Spray both colours of Mica Mist through the stencil, then carefully remove it and leave to dry.
3 Once dry, die-cut the panel using a stitched rectangle die then attach this to the card front.
4 Stamp a sentiment onto white cardstock, trim and matt onto black cardstock.
5 Affix the sentiment using 3D foam pads, then add sequins and Glitter Drops to finish.

Top tip
The stencil gets quite saturated when spraying, so it’s a single-use stencil. However, if you leave it to dry, you could then use it to make another card!
