Die-cutting Essentials 54 extra card

It’s Die-cutting Essentials week, and we know you’re as excited as we are!

Issue 54 hits the shelves this Thursday – July 18th – and is packed full of brilliant card making inspiration using your gorgeous jigsaw die gift.

In the issue, be inspired by Sue Hughes’s makes for women – below – and Sandra Rayner’s cards for men, both made using the exclusive designer paper downloads you can find here.

Elsewhere you will find stunning new creations from Crafter’s Companion, technique features on layered cards and also making all-occasion gift boxes using your basic nesting dies.

And there’s an extra card that we couldn’t fit in your jam-packed magazine!

This bonus card is from Sandra Rayner.

Simply make

1 Spray the blue ink onto an ink-blending mat, scrunch up some cling film and lightly dab the ink. Place white cardstock on top and lightly press down lift up and set aside to dry.

2 Cut various colours of cardstock using the glasses die, adhere to vellum and trim any overhang. Stamp the sentiment and die-cut into a circle.

3 Ink two 7×15.5cm panels of cardstock, matt onto navy cardstock, leaving a boarder on each side. Make four holes and add thread to each on one of the panels before securing the glass as shown.

4 Affix the sentiment onto the second inked panel using 3D foam pads. Affix the sunglasses panel onto a 10.5×18.5cm piece of white cardstock.

5 Adhere the sentiment panel in place using 3D foam pads and glue gel, offsetting as shown.

What an impressive make! WE hope you love it.
