Step by step
Cut a 4” square of white cardstock. Place the holly stencil onto the card, holding in place with a piece of low-tack tape. Using a detail blending tool, apply Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink over the stencil. Continue to blend the ink as you move around the stencil. Repeat the same process with Peeled Paint Distress Oxide Ink, but only touches of this darker shade.
Blend Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink over the berries, again using a detail blending tool. Take time to add layers of the ink to give depth and dimension to the stencilling.
Apply Peeled Paint Distress Oxide Ink around the outside edges of the stencilled panel.
Wrap twine around the stencilled background, holding in place at the back of the card.
Ink the bauble stamp with Vermillion Archival Ink, adding light touches of Fern Green Archival Ink, then stamp the bauble image onto a piece of white cardstock. Cut out the stamped bauble, leaving a white border, then adhere to the stencilled background.
Tie a double bow from red twine and add to the top of the bauble, adding an Art Pebble to the top.
Matt the decorative panel onto white cardstock coloured with Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink, leaving a narrow border, then adhere to the card front.
