Kick-start your Christmas crafting with Papercraft Essentials issue 178

We’re so excited to bring you our first Christmas issue of 2019. Kick-start your Christmas crafting with issue 178 and our Diorama 3D foiled kit!

Now that summer is almost over, it’s time to start thinking about the most important day in the crafting calendar – Christmas! Issue 178 has just the kit for you. Our Diorama 3D foiled kit lets you make 8 extra-special cards in just 3 easy steps. These cards also fold flat so are perfect for posting to loved ones!

Your 3D foiled kit lets your create 8 super-stylish Christmas cards with minimal fuss. But you can follow Liz McGuire’s handy instructions on page 48 for a little extra help! We wanted to show you what other designs you could make with your kit, so we asked Nicky Gilburt to make a couple of traditional designs too – you’ll find these on page 52.

Also inside issue 178, you’ll find fun card blank shapes to try plus opportunities to develop your existing craft skills. As well as this, issue 178 has our best budget ideas to help you upcycle and stretch your stash – even more important now we’re all saving up for Christmas!

We’ve even got music-themed cards for men, and pretty birthday and all-occasion cards for women. We’re also pleased to bring you the first in our DIY Christmas series, where Sam Clayton shows how to make your own Christmas crackers. I think this will come in handy!

*If there’s a card in the issue that requires a template, you can download it from here*
