Pre-order your John Next Door Christmas cardmaking collection now!

We are delighted to share our very first box kit collaboration with John Lockwood, or you may know him better as John Next Door! This fantastic box kit goes on sale on 19th September and  features stamps, a co-ordinating die, fabulous snowflake embossing folder and a gorgeous paper collection, all lovingly curated by John Lockwood himself! We know you will love this, and you’ll be creating stylish Christmas cards in no time at all.

We have a magazine packed full of inspiration using the kit, plus sneak peeks of John’s newest releases. We also learn a little about the man himself, his day -to-day life and the story behind his amazing rise to success.

Look out for our amazing competition inside, where you can win two tickets to a very special John Next Door workshop, to be held on Wednesday 4th December at the home of our magazines, Practical Publishing in Stockport. We crafters LOVE a workshop, and there will be good times and crafty ideas a-plenty to be had in the presence of John himself, who will be sharing his top tips and tricks with ten lucky crafters. Be sure to enter to be in with a chance of winning!

We have a bonus card here from Lesley Lakin to share with you. A little sneak peek at the paper pack to whet your appetite for this fabulous kit!

Cassis IZINK inkpad
pink ribbon
white enamel dot

John Next Door Media Collection Media Plate Rectangle Frame dies

Step by step
1 Die-cut a large rectangle from the Media Plate collection from pink satin mirror card. Cut the smaller rectangle from pink snowflake patterned paper and layer onto a middle-sized white die-cut. Affix to the card front.
2 Add strips of striped paper down the left-hand side of the panel and across the bottom, like a parcel ribbon.
3 Cut out a tag and matt onto white cardstock, trimming a narrow border. Affix to the card front on an angle using 3D foam pads. Add a double bow.
4 Add glitter to a stamped and die-cut flower and affix over the bow. Add an enamel dot to finish.

Top tip
The lined borders make fabulous faux ribbon and can be cut to different widths
