By the Water stamp set

white 14cm-square card blank

white stamping cardstock

black & orange cardstock

Honeypot, Orange & Lemon Tonic Spectrum Noir Harmony water-reactive dye inkpads

Onyx Black VersaFine inkpad

masking paper

ink-blending tool

circle nesting dies

manual die-cutting machine

How to create

1 Cover the card base with orange cardstock

2 Cut a square of white cardstock and stamp with the sentiment. Blend ink around the edges as shown, layer onto black cardstock, trimming a narrow border and affix to the card blank.

3 Cut a circle from stamping cardstock. Ink the top of the circle lightly with Lemon Tonic ink.

4 Cut a small circle from masking paper and add to inked circle towards the top. Blend Honeypot and Orange ink around it.

5 Remove the mask and add a straight edge to create the water line, inking below it with Honeypot and Orange ink

6 Remove the mask and stamp the top of the bulrushes across the bottom of the circle, then the dragonfly over the moon.

7 Layer onto a larger black circle and affix to the card front using 3D foam pads. Add a gem to finish.

Top tip

Use a piece of scrap paper to hold your card down when inking to avoid getting fingerprints on your artwork

That’s all for this issue but we hope it’s whetted your appetite to see what else you can do with this fabulous set.
