Also this issue you’ll find some fab techniques including iris folding in die-cut apertures, creating inked die impressions, plus a guide to mastering faux tie dye to really make your die-cuts pop! Here’s a bonus card from the faux tie dye feature:

Step by step
1 Follow the step-by-step guide on page 25 of the magazine to create a watercolour tie-dye panel. Leave to dry then add splatter to emphasise the effect as shown.
2 Die-cut the leaf several times from white cardstock and layer together. Die-cut the sentiment from white cardstock.
3 Trim the panel to size then adhere the dies onto the panel as shown.
4 Attach two strips of Washi tape down the side of the card front and attach the panel to the centre to finish.

I have a copy of Die Cutting Essentials issue 71. On page 27 there is a chance to win a Cricut Joy and accessories. I've been to the how to enter website and there is no mention of this item there. Has this now been withdrawn?

    • Lee Campbell

Thanks for letting us now, that has been updated now so you should be able to enter. Good luck!
