Creative Stamping 95 sneak peak

We’re very excited to share a sneak peak of the next issue of Creative Stamping, in the shops from 22nd April.

We’re going a little bit nautical, mixing up maritime with a little bit of romance and flowers using our fabulous Message in a Bottle stamp set featuring Lisa Horton Crafts.

In addition to this we are bringing you a versatile 8-in-1 6×6″ stencil for you to create amazing backgrounds and focal elements throughout your projects – and of course we show you how with expert tutorials throughout the magazine.

Check out the inspiring stencil projects from Jane Tyrrell who really made the most of every element in the stencil with stunning makes such as this one:

We also have mixed-media makes, cards for men and much more in this issue, plus clean and simple ideas for stylish message-in-a-bottle makes.

We have a bonus card here, from Ruth Hamilton’s masculine makes feature which also uses the papers – look out for the download post where you too can take advantage of six themed papers to complement the stamps.

Happy birthday

2 Die-cut a 3¾”-diameter white circle and the next size up from coral cardstock. Adhere together and stamp ‘Happy birthday’ across the bottom. Adhere to the centre of the card front.

3 Stamp the circle bottle and two shells. Stamp the small shoal of fish inside the bottle.

Paint with watercolour paints, adding a metallic effect to the water.

4 Cut out the bottle and shells. Attach the bottle to the circle using 3D foam pads and adhere the shells at the bottom.

Top tip

Mix a few different shades of blue paint inside the bottle to give a more realistic look

In addition to the fabulous cards made using the stamps, we have new releases from Lisa Horton Crafts plus an exclusive giveaway, the latest sparkle from Chloe’s Creative Cards, with a generous discount at Chloe’s website, also new ideas from Hunkydory, Honey Doo Crafts and more! We’re jam-packed with inspiration such as this stunning mixed-media make from Teresa Morgan.
